Canned on 4/22/2020, this review done on 7/8/2020. Hops have a fruity and resinous aroma. Taste has notable caramel malt sweetness and clean bitterness in background. Finishes fairly clean with slight lingering of both the hop bitterness and caramel sweetness.
Bright fruity hop aroma. First taste is slightly puckering like lime, but smooths quite quickly. Bright and flavorful burst in the mouth, then mellows and leaves with a slightly taste aftertaste.
Faint super sweet aroma. Slightly sharp bite of hops, followed by a clean malt taste. Aftertaste has some lingering hop bitterness and hint of caramel malt. Overall full flavored but minimal aftertaste.
Faint hop sweetness aroma. Taste is strong with hop flavor, but soft mouthfeel. After initial taste, mouth fills with full hop flavors. Slightly cloying in the aftertaste. Had in Mexico City craft beer bar, from Mexican brewery.
Strong sweet aroma. Taste is smooth with no real hop bite. Flavor comes through of some muted caramel malts, then leaves you with some residual hop flavors. Overall very easy drinking.
Dark malt and hop sweetness aroma blended together. Clear dark malt taste with a bit of hop fruitiness buried in the background. Aftertaste is one of clean mild dark malt fading slowly. A lot of flavor but not a lot of bite on anything.
Sweet aroma mix of hops and wort. Taste has a hop bite and a strong dose of caramel. Finish is fairly smooth with bits if caramel malt and hops hanging in background.
First tasted cold and it was not good- no real flavor, just warm bourbon alcohol heat. Let it sit for a few minutes, it’s still cold-ish. Sweet aroma with hints of bourbon. Taste is smooth, with a broad malt flavor that mellows quickly and provides a mild bourbon flavor in background. Nice blend. Aftertaste leaves a bit too much bourbon for my taste.
Faint sweet hop aroma. Smooth taste with subdued hops flavor and a mild year/wheat malt flavor. Overall, very mild. Hard to believe with flavors this subtle that it’s 6.3%. Slight hop bitterness lingering in aftertaste.
4 out of 5 stars.
