Mild hop aroma. Clean crisp malt bite with a hint of hops. Clean aftertaste.

Slightly sweet aroma. Nice bite of malt and hop mixed together, finishes of nicely with a grainy malt flavor. Very nice.

Faint sweet aroma. Nice clean malt flavor with clean, mild hop background. Leaves you with a slight taste of yeast mixed with malt, very mellow. Tastes very similar to Alt I had in Germany.
Had on tap at Griffin Claw Brewery.

Dry, sweet, hoppy smell. Crisp flavor with equal balance of hop and malt. Aftertaste is very clean malt taste, with lingerings of hop sweetness in the background. Without the slight sweetness, would be almost identical to the Dusseldorf alt beers.

Dark, sweet aroma. Very strong dark malt taste almost like coffee. Despite that heavy dark taste, it quickly steps down and fades out leaving hints of hops mixed with the dark malt. Much darker and heavier than the Alts I had in Dusseldorf.

Faint hint of grain aroma and hops. Full mouth feel with a refreshing hop taste, not too strong. Finishes with a slight fresh grainy taste with a mild hop flavor in the background. Refreshingly light and tasty.

Slight faint aroma with a mild grain smell. Sweet flavor with a slight harshness. A bit too harsh for me. Has definite flavors like the Alts, but a bit too harsh, then fares into a slight sweetness. Very little aftertaste.

Slightly sweet smell. Sharp hop bite that gradually fades away. Leaves a slight hop taste that’s very raw and fresh tasting.

Sweet smell, almost rotten. Hits taste buds quick with a nice fresh hop taste. Has an aftertaste that’s a mix of strong hops and moderate maltiness. A bit stronger in flavor (both hops and malt) than any of the other alts.
