Thin head that fizzles down quickly. I can smell the dark makes and spice aroma with the glass sitting a foot away from my nose. Aroma up close is not as strong as I would’ve thought- nice mellow dark malts. Full flavor, with a zing of cinnamon spice cutting through the dark malts, then quickly disappearing. Aftertaste is fairly mild dark malt. The 8.1% ABV is hidden well, with no detectable alcohol burn.
Sweet aroma with a slightly sharp edge to it. Taste is flavorful malt zing, with hops fully supporting in background with flavor, but no bite. Taste is left sticky sweet, a bit caramely.
Nice aroma strongly of fruity hops, with dark malt in the background. Taste is malt forward, mixed with hop flavors. Not a strong dark malt flavor, but aftertaste is nice smooth dark malt flavor, without a harsh bite.
Muted hop aroma. Slight tang flavor at first, that traditions to a moderate malt flavor. Very slight malt and hops flavor lingers. Overall fairly smooth and not very hoppy for an IPA.
Bright sweet hop aroma. Crisp bite of hops which transitions to full-mouth raw hop taste, then smooths into sweetness of yeast and clean malt. Super flavorful.
Faint sweet aroma, like fresh corn. Taste is slightly sweet with a quick sharpness to it of some non descript hop which quickly transitions to a smooth clean malt flavor. Very nice for this style. Not my favorite style (light lager), butt very solid.
Faint sweet hop aroma. Crisp bite with a caramel crispness that’s distinct, but not too sweet. Very dry aftertaste with a palate cleansing bite from hops and the yeast. Very refreshing and tasty.
Sticky sweet aroma, very thick smelling. Smooth hop taste slides into the pallet with a mild clean malt taste following it. Finishes with a very faint yeast sweetness and bit of hop bitterness.
Strong alcohol smell along with a sticky sugary smell. Taste tweaks the taste buds then smooths quickly into a full palate dark malt flavor. Easy aftertaste with slight sweetness and a bit of dark malt. Fairly nice, surprisingly.
4 out of 5 stars.
