Faint sweet aroma, like fresh corn. Taste is slightly sweet with a quick sharpness to it of some non descript hop which quickly transitions to a smooth clean malt flavor. Very nice for this style. Not my favorite style (light lager), butt very solid.
Faint sweet hop aroma. Crisp bite with a caramel crispness that’s distinct, but not too sweet. Very dry aftertaste with a palate cleansing bite from hops and the yeast. Very refreshing and tasty.
Sticky sweet aroma, very thick smelling. Smooth hop taste slides into the pallet with a mild clean malt taste following it. Finishes with a very faint yeast sweetness and bit of hop bitterness.
Strong alcohol smell along with a sticky sugary smell. Taste tweaks the taste buds then smooths quickly into a full palate dark malt flavor. Easy aftertaste with slight sweetness and a bit of dark malt. Fairly nice, surprisingly.
Bright and sticky hop aroma. Taste is a mix of caramel malt and slightly edgy hop bitterness. Aftertaste seems mild in comparison, with lingering alcohol-tinged maltiness and hop bitterness.
Fresh, broad bouquet of floral hop aromas. Hop bitterness slides in soft at first, then builds. Ends with a full flavor of hops across the palate, falling to a slight sweetness and lingering hop bitterness.
Haven’t had this one in a long time. Nice to see I still enjoy it!
Faint floral aroma. First taste is crisp with a slight sweetness to it. Aftertaste has mild hop character that grows over time. Near zero carbonation- not sure if that’s intentional or a packaging flaw. It’s good that it’s only 4.3% ABV since it goes down so smooth.
Second can had slightly more carbonation. The increased carbonation helps perk this up.
Fresh floral hop aromas with a sweet yeast tinge. Flavor is super smooth, with a full taste bud awakening, but no harsh or bitter aspects. Hops are subdued and you can detect a hint of clean maltiness, which you can’t typically detect in hazy IPAs. Very refreshing and smooth.
I first came across this on draft several months ago and feel in love. I haven’t seen it in cans/bottles until just recently.
Canned on 4/22/2020, this review done on 7/8/2020. Hops have a fruity and resinous aroma. Taste has notable caramel malt sweetness and clean bitterness in background. Finishes fairly clean with slight lingering of both the hop bitterness and caramel sweetness.
4 out of 5 stars.
