Great fruity hop smell. Nice raw grainy taste with a slightly sweet aftertaste. Nice cloudy appearance. Very reliable to be delicious.

Wow, a Sam Adams beer that actually tastes like a craft beer! Initially, I was worried about the aroma because of a whole lot of nothing going on other than a faint sweet smell. The taste has a good hop flavor with a nice raw/grainy taste to it. A little bit of hop aftertaste. All in all, very nice other than the aroma.

Nice sharp aroma. Fairly significant bite on the taste buds with first drink. Taste is a little bit sweet with nice hoppy bite aftertaste.

Kind of yucky aroma like body odor, taste starts a bit harsh, but is immediately followed by a nice malt taste. Amazing after all that up front that there’s very little aftertaste. In the end, I’m not sure what to think. After a few more tastes, the malty aftertaste starts to be pretty nice.

Very nice dark, rich taste. Good malty taste that fades nicely and leaves you with minimal aftertaste.

Nice maple aroma. Taste a bit average. Brief harsh aftertaste that quickly disappears.

IPA, but a bit harsh- very non-smooth. Not a real strong hop aroma either.

Good. Clean, malty, a bit sweet.

Usually pretty reliable as a good strong flavored IPA. A bit wet and smooth going down with a harsh hoppy aftertaste. On good bottles the aftertaste is nice, on average ones it leaves you a bit raw.

Sometimes great, sometimes just good. Very hoppy but smooth. 300 IBU according to Short’s website.
