Nice slightly sweet aroma with a slight hint of hops. Nice even flavor that is a little hoppy, but not strongly so. Good strong hop aftertaste that finishes off nicely.

Founders Harvest Ale 2012
Slightly sweet aroma with a hint of a hop bite. Taste is a fresh crispness of hops but quickly smooths and fades out gradually. Leaves with a mild hop aftertaste that’s not too harsh and not too mellow. Bottled on 10/4/12 and drank on 10/26/12, so pretty fresh from brewery to beer drinker.

Atwater Grand Circus
Sweet smell with a good hop smell. Nice dry taste with moderate hoppiness which quickly fades to a sweet flavor followed by a maltiness. A bit sweet.

No aroma. Very smooth, slightly sweet taste with a good hop taste. Very nice aftertaste that fades out smoothly with hoppiness.

Epic Copper Cone
Slightly sweet but crisp hop aroma. Taste is a mix of hops with a malty bite. Malt taste fades away and you’re left with just the hops. Leaves you a little bitter.

Epic Captain Crompton’s Pale Ale
Slight hop aroma. Full mouth flavor of strong hops. Fades out moderately with hints of malt and hops. Leaves a clean, crisp taste in the mouth with hoppiness handing out in the back corners of the mouth. After a few more drinks, I’m thinking the aftertaste has a little bit too much of a harsh edge to it.

Arbor Brewing Buzzsaw
Sharp, sweet hop aroma. Great very strong hop taste that wages full assault on the taste buds. Hop taste fades our from being super strong to just regular strong and lingers from there. Very strong full-flavored hoppiness throughout that’s a pure joy.

New Belgium Ranger
Delicious sweet fresh hop aroma. Very broad, “wet” taste of hops. Fairly strong hop flavor, but not crisp, so fades out smoothly and quickly, leaving a nice mild fresh hop flavor. Very nice. Feels like you’re drinking it fresh from a brewery out in a field of fresh growing hops. Date on bottle suggests to consume by 16-Dec-2012, drank it on 2-Sep-2012.

Smells a bit like old stale beer. Nice mild malt taste with a moderate malt taste as it fades out. Finishes clean with a bit of malt taste.
