Nice strong sweet hop aroma. Refreshing crisp hop bite that’s quite juicy, and then almost honey-like. Finishes with a nice clean grain flavor with a honey flavor. Very slight hop lingering at the end. Very refreshing and really excites multiple taste buds.
There was a noticeable layer of particulate inside the bottle, which I swirled up and poured into my glass while pouring it.
Nice sweet hop aroma. Fresh hop sweetness, fairly smooth with a slight edge. Mild lingering hop flavor, that transitions to a nice clean grain flavor. Very good.
Nice aroma mix of hop bitterness and some sweetness. Taste is even-handed with a gold balance of hops and sweet malt. Finishes slightly crisp with an intertwining of hop bitterness and malt sweetness- neither one too powerful.
Faintly sweet aroma. Full flavor sweetness with a slight harsh edge. I suppose I can taste some herbal tea flavors on there. Somewhat resinous aftertaste that fades out.
Says bottled on 3/14/16 so it’s amazing the freshness expected, with just a little over a month shelf life. Nice aroma of fresh, sharp hops. Crisp hop bite with a bit of a sweet aftertaste that’s a bit tangy. If “dank” means halfway between resinous and fruity, that’s how I’d describe this.
Very nice strong hop aroma. Full mouth flavor of slightly sharp, slightly sweet hop flavor. Aftertaste is very strong hop resinous flavor, with a kind of grapefruit tartness that lingers.
Strong sweet aroma. Full flavored sweetness very reminiscent of Hopslam, but without the hint of honey sweetness. Hop harshness mixed with a malt sweetness that leaves a slightly harsh hop aftertaste. Can taste hints of the high alcohol mixed in there.
Very strong sweet aroma, almost like rotten or over ripe fruit. Sweet, puckering taste with a sharp hop bite on the backside. Lingering hop aftertaste at a low level. No notable alcohol flavor like you might expect with 10% ABV. Just a very strong, slightly harsh hop flavor to let you know something unique is going on.
Very sweet hop smell, almost smells sticky. Intense hop and malt flavor greets you then quickly fades to a mild hop taste then lingers there for a long time. You can taste the grapefruit, but it’s a bit excessive, the regular Hopstache is better balanced to my palate.
4 out of 5 Stars.
