Thick dark malt aroma. Full flavor of dark malt, but with a crispness to it instead of a sweetness. Flavorful dance of hops and dark malt, never wore sure which one is taking lead. His contribute a nice clean bitterness, not fruity at all. Very inspiring.
Phenomenal carbonation, glad it’s a giant stream of steady little bubbles everywhere. Sweet aroma of nice stone fruit hops. Taste is sweet, almost puckering, with juicy hop flavor. Slight drying on the palate from the yeast on the back end, then leaves mouth fairly dry with just a hint of hops in background.
Sweet aroma of caramel malts. Slightly crisp bite with good mix of hops and dark/caramel malts. Sweeps the palate clean and leaves a slight lingering version of the initial taste. Overall, super tasty.
Sweet aroma of resinous hops and caramel malt. Crisp taste with a great balance of hop bite and caramel malt flavor. These two work together in perfect balance to be strong flavored of both, but neither overpowering. Spectacular.
Aroma of bright floral hops, with a mild malt sweetness in the background. Slightly crisp taste, followed by creamy yeast flavor, and ending with light floral hop taste that lingers and fades smoothly. Refreshing.
Sweet aroma of resinous hops. Crisp flavor bite of yeast and hops. Aftertaste is slightly juicy and finishes fairly clean with a mix of yeast and light malt flavor.
Strong aroma of sweet malt, and resinous hops. Taste is slightly sweet, almost fruity. Thick resin flavor comes in, along with a hop bite. Hints of the 9% alcohol in subsequent drinks. Very flavorful, but not overpowering like most Imperial IPA are.
Sweet fruity aroma, mainly smells like hops. Taste is slightly cloying and sweet with a slightly bigger edge. This fades as a slow crescendo of peach flavor slowly builds. Finish is very nice and tasty, not juice-like or over fruity at all. Refreshing, and it hides its 8.9% ABV amazingly well.
Bottled 4/12/2022, tasted on 4/30/2022. Super fresh.
Bright flowery/citrus hop aroma. Clean taste of hops with a kind of bitterness that doesn’t have an edge to it. Overall smooth on the palate, but with lots of hop flavor. Minor hop bitterness in the aftertaste, even if the mouthfeel still is soft. Interesting combination that’s both sessionable and bitter at the same time.
Clean aroma of slightly sweet dark malt. Full malt flavor spreads out across the palate, then finishes somewhat dry, with a clean lingering dark malt taste.
4 out of 5 stars.
