Very strong sweet aroma, almost like rotten or over ripe fruit. Sweet, puckering taste with a sharp hop bite on the backside. Lingering hop aftertaste at a low level. No notable alcohol flavor like you might expect with 10% ABV. Just a very strong, slightly harsh hop flavor to let you know something unique is going on.
Nice strong sweet hop aroma. Sweet taste of hops, but not as strong as I was expecting with the aroma. No real aftertaste. Almost an onion aftertaste. Hmmm.
Slight sweet aroma. Crisp taste bite mixed with a mild sweetness at first which fades to a mild malt taste and hop flavor. Finishes fairly light with no significant aftertaste.
Faint sweet wheat aroma. First taste is soft and wheaty, with a sweet wit taste. Finishes with a slight hop uptick to cut off the sweetness and finish fairly cleanly.
Clean dark malt aroma like a stout. Slightly sweet, crisp flavor of dark malt and carbonation. No real hop presence to speak of, perhaps some hiding in the background behind the malt aftertaste that slowly fades away. Seems to slightly mellow the dark malt bite. Very full flavor for a session ale.
