Aroma is bright and fresh. First taste is smooth with a slightly crisp snap of hops. Flavor develops fairly bitter, but finishes somewhat smooth.

Aroma is floral-sweet hops, with a sharp caramel malt smell. Taste is a level mix of floral hop flavors, moderate malt, and slightly dry crispness from the yeast. Finishes clean with mild balance again of all 3.
Blends much nicer, and more pleasant flavors as it warms. I’m not one for warm beer, I typically like it super cold. This one is definitely much better on the last half of the glass.

Thick, sweet aroma with occasional breakthroughs of sharp citrus smells. Flavor streaks out all over the palate, with resiny bite of hops that sits pretty bitter before slowly fading to leave a mild malt and yeast taste. Interesting, but a bit too resiny for me.

Sweet dark malt aroma. Very watered down taste, smooth but a very notable void of flavors. Slight dark malt flavor in the background, but no perceivable hops. Very drinkable at 4.2%, but the overall lack of flavor kind of makes you feel like- why?

Nice even smell of dark malts, but not sweet. Clean crisp taste, that spreads out across the palate smoothly delivering waves of dark malts. Hops remain in background just to cut off any lingering malt flavors. Very clean and drinkable.

Sweet aroma of hops and yeast. Taste is smooth and sweet, with a hint of dark malt flavor. Aftertaste is mix of dark malt and yeast sweetness, with a hint of fruity hops way in the background.
Date on bottom of can is 9/22/20, drinking on 4/10/2021, so it’s a bit past prime. Maybe fresher would have more hop presence.

Aroma of sticky hop sweetness with hints of caramel malt. Clean palate taste of mild malt, goes down quite smoothly with mostly malt and a bit of yeast flavor. Way in the background is a minor hop bitterness. Very tasty.

Their normal bourbon barrel aged Stout, with peanut butter, cocoa nibs, & “natural flavors”. Bottled 1/27/2021, drank on 4/6/2021.
Bourbon smell masked behind blocking wall of peanut butter and cocoa. Very smooth taste of cocoa, slight peanut butter, and then bourbon barrel Stout on the back end.

Fresh, bright hop aroma. Thick mouthfeel, almost like drinking juice. Not overly bitter, but full flavor of pineapple-like hops fills the palate with mild residual sweetness lingering.

Nice solid hop aroma. Taste has a slight twinge of sweetness to it, slightly puckering the taste buds. Good flavor of dark malts in the background- recognizable but not overpowering. Finish is mix of nice hop flavor combined with yeast taste. Very refreshing and flavorful overall.
