Slightly sweet aroma. Clean refreshing malt bite with a slightly sweet malt aftertaste. Very clean and crisp, no real strong hop presence but is a very nice beer to enjoy. Combined with the low ABV makes for a nice refreshing easy drink. Can also detect a clean bread-y yeast taste, that’s not sweet or overpowering.
Faint, dry, hops aroma. Slightly sweet hop bite with a nice mellow malt taste right there with it. Finishes with a back and forth mixing of the malt and hops kind of fighting over who’s going to lead. Warming a bit seems to tame the sharpness of the hop bite and leave more malty aftertaste.
Watered down tasting. Nice hop aroma, but very mild. Flavor is a mix of heart hop bite at the same time it tastes/feels like you’re drinking half water. I wonder if this is their low alcohol IPA?
No aroma other than maybe an old nasty beer smell. Luckily after further sniffs, the clouds parted some and there was a hint of fresh hop sweetness. Flavor is a bit edgy with some hop sweetness overlayed with some harshness. Aftertaste is a bit harsh them fades off to a moderate hoppy maltiness. Not bad, but a bit too much harshness hiding here and there to make it too enjoyable. Says it was canned on 03/08/13, which makes it only 2.5 weeks old. Nothing about it tastes fresh, though.
After letting this warm slightly from the ice cold state, flavor actually mellowed a lot and new flavors came out with a nice maltiness. Bumped it up a half rating.
Slight sweet aroma that becomes a strong sweet fresh grain taste as it gets close to the nose. Slightly hoppy taste with a bit of a bite at the end. Fades into a malty taste that’s fairly mild but has hints of graininess to it.
Slight sweet hop aroma. Hits the mouth with a nice moderate hop flavor. Has a mild malt taste and them ends up with a sweet hop ending that fades slowly.
