Very light beer tasting. Nothing to get excited about or really complain about. Much like Bud light.

Arcadia Barrel Aged Shipwreck Porter
Awesome sweet taste that’s smooth and delicious. Goes down nicely for such a strong beer. The bourbon barrel gives it a nice aroma, but not too strong. The red wax top had a cool look, but was horridly impractical- to the point of being dangerous. Having to cut that thing off while sober is a challenge. Having to do it with a beer our two in me, I’m surprised I didn’t walk away from it with a knife stuck in my hand.

Lagunitas Undercover Shutdown Ale
Sharp, hoppy, slightly sweet aroma. Full flavored, but not as much as the aroma would lead you to believe. Finishes smooth and sweet with a hint of hops. Very nice combination overall with a nice balance between hops and sweetness.

Sixpoint Sweet Action
Very sweet smell, hint of hoppiness. Mild flavor followed quickly by a grainy freshness. Fades out smoothly. Very refreshing.

Short’s Kind Ale
Fresh, slightly sweet hop aroma. Full mouth hoppy taste with a slight edge of harshness. Harshness fades and replaced with an overall nice hop flavor. Kind of like a 1-2 punch, where you prefer the ‘2’.

Motor City Motown Bohemian Lager
Very sweet smelling like a cheap mass-produced lager. First taste is a very strong sweetness, with a bite. Finishes with a sweet aftertaste and a light malt taste.

Very sweet smell that’s a mix of maltiness and strong hops. Flavor is a huge burst of sweet malt quickly followed by a nice grainy hop bite. Leaves a lingering sweet hoppiness.
