Jamesport Lucky Penny
No aroma. Slight crispness but no malt flavor at all, tastes almost like water. A bit of hop aftertaste.

Founders Brewing Devil Dancer
Thick sweet aroma. High alcohol sweetness immediately hits your mouth. Fades out to a moderate hop sweetness which tangentially gives way to a mild malt taste. Bottle says 112 IBU, but doesn’t have the typical hoppiness, probably because of the heavy alcohol content. Not very pleasant. Unfortunate I spent about $6/bottle. Says it was bottled 16 months ago, on 6/18/12. Oh well, I’ll save my money next time.

Old Dominion Brewing Hop Mountain
Faint grain smell. Taste is pretty flat. Almost like this beer is old. Based on birth date it’s about 5.5 months old. Kind of reminds me of tomato sauce. Not at all what I was expecting…
