Clean dark malt aroma with hints of fruit sweetness. Taste is initially one of sweet cherries but quickly is replaced by a dry coffee-like dark malt taste. After a few more drinks the coffee flavor mellows out and a nice residual cherry sweetness is left.
Strong pilsner aroma. Starts smooth them comes in with a sharp bite at the back end. Aftertaste you can taste the spruce flavor. A bit minty. In hindsight, I’m not sure I want my beer to taste like a pine tree…
American India Pale Lager. Sweet hop aromas. Crisp bite of hops right away, gives way to a nice well blended malt flavor. Fades to a slightly harsh hop aftertaste. Overall a kind of light mouthfeel, but packed with strong flavors.
Clean dark malt aroma like a stout. Slightly sweet, crisp flavor of dark malt and carbonation. No real hop presence to speak of, perhaps some hiding in the background behind the malt aftertaste that slowly fades away. Seems to slightly mellow the dark malt bite. Very full flavor for a session ale.
Slightly spicy aroma with a bit of fruit and clear wheat smell. Taste is immediately a soft wheat flavor with a yeast sweetness and a mix of fruit and wheat aftertaste that lingers.
