Thick sweet aroma with thick malt aroma. Sweet taste that curls the taste buds. Bready sweetness that hints like it’s going to dip into bourbon flavor, but stops just short. Nice, surprisingly smooth with the strong sweetness.
Nice sweet tropical hop aroma. Taste is a mixture of hop sweetness and caramel malt sweetness. Finishes fairly slick on mouthfeel and then leaves a pleasant residual tropical fruit hop flavor.
Fresh sweet hop aroma. Mix of malt flavors coming in and battling the hops out of the way. Mix of hops and malt flavors, but really more of a malt flavor dominated rather than hops. I think I preferred the more hop assertive previous version.
Sweet, almost dank hop aroma. Moderate sweet taste that seems a mix of hops and malt. Fairly sweet and smooth flavor combination of hops, malt, and yeast. Minor hop bitterness, but not overly hoppy. Fairly clean, but a tad too much clinging sweetness.
Full sweet hop aroma. Slightly tart flavor at first, which gets replaced by malt sweetness, finally fades into hop bitterness lingering. Has a mixture of four hops I really like, but the caramel malt flavor takes away from it, as well as the lingering bitterness. Still pretty good, just maybe a bit too overwhelming.
Nice thick frothy head. Flavor is even mix of malt (caramel mostly) and hops. A bit too much caramel hops, almost smoky flavor. Lingering hop bitterness, slightly harsh.
Have had this before and I really enjoyed it. Maybe the caramel makes were less pronounced.
Sweet resiny hop aroma. Crisp flavor bite of hops, immediately backfilled with malt flavor. No real hop aftertaste, but a nice moderate grain malt flavor.
4 out of 5 stars.
