Very nice fresh fruity hop aroma. Sharp bite of hop bitterness. Hop bitterness mellows a bit then leaves a harsh bitter taste in your mouth.

Magic Hat Encore
Sweet aroma. Slightly crisp taste with an undercurrent of sweetness. Followed by an even malty flavor. Very little hop presence. A little over 7 months old, so a bit out of date. Could be reason the hop bitterness is gone.

Saugatuck Neopolitan Milk Stout
Slightly fruity strawberry aroma plus dark malt. Flavor is strong with dark malt but a hint of strawberry in the background and leaves you with a creamy/foamy mouthfeel at the end. Interesting, but maybe a little too sweet at the end.

Goose Island Ten Hills
Watered down tasting. Nice hop aroma, but very mild. Flavor is a mix of heart hop bite at the same time it tastes/feels like you’re drinking half water. I wonder if this is their low alcohol IPA?

Hitachino Nest Dai Dai
Faint sweet aroma. Slightly sharp bite that also has a fruitiness to it. Finishes very cleanly with a faint fruit sweetness that fades out slowly. Can definitely taste the orange peel.

Faint dark malt aroma with a bit of sweetness. Dark malt flavor with mild coffee background. Finishes slightly sweet but leaves little aftertaste.

Rochester Mills Vanilla Stout Cask
Slightly sweet, clean aroma of vanilla and dark malt. Very sweet taste, quickly replaced by a maltiness that’s slightly dark malt flavor, but very mild. Sweetened with Michigan maple syrup and you can taste that in the initial flavor.

Griffin Claw Norm’s Raggedy Ass IPA- Cask
On cask. Clean hop sweet aroma. Clean taste of malt with slight hop sweetness, but not with a bite. A bit of hop aftertaste, but on cask makes this a very smooth hop delivery.

Faint rich sweet aroma. Sweet, clingy mouthfeel. Finishes with a moderate malt flavor that transitions into a hoppy flavor. Mild hoppy aftertaste.
